Eliza Goodwin is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from coastal Maine, currently based in Providence, Rhode Island. She earned her BFA from RISD, where she studied Illustration and Ceramics.
Eliza currently designs rugs and home textiles for Natco Home Group. She has also created pattern collections for Belted Cow, illustrated children’s books for Adams Media and Simon & Schuster, and developed murals and custom artwork through Piper & Plover.
My work explores how images and objects can be repeated, arranged, and built through pattern. Drawing from painting, textiles, ceramics, and illustration, I am interested in the visual traditions and natural rhythms -especially of the Maine coast.
Across both my studio and commercial work, I return to landscape, material, and the ways people form relationships with the places they inhabit.
